AudioControl’s amplifiers, AVRs and preamps are among the most widely used products in their respective categories among integrators. One element that has helped the company establish those leadership positions is its partnership with D-Tools.
AudioControl, which was acquired by AVPro Global in 2023, has participated in D-Tools Integrated Product Library for 20 years and in the D-Tools Industry Insights & Information (i3) Partner Program since its inception 3 years ago.
“D-Tools has been one of those products that has really changed the industry, especially when it comes to proposals,” says Chris Kane, vice president of AVPro Global Residential Sales, which is based in Mountlake Terrace, Wash. “AudioControl and AVPro are very excited to have been a charter member of the D-Tools program. It’s a tool that enables our dealers to more easily put together professional proposals for their clients, to manage inventory levels and to truly understand the projects that they have and what needs to be delivered to the customer.”
The D-Tools Integrated Product Library contains more than 1.6 million products with integrator-level pricing from more than 220 suppliers representing more than 1,000 brands. The D-Tools i3 Partner Program gives manufacturers and distributors access to a proprietary dashboard that provides them insight into the sales activity among their dealers in D-Tools Cloud. They can also view download activity among integrators using the D-Tools System Integrator (SI) on-premises solution.
The i3 Partner Program also enables suppliers such as AVPro Global/AudioControl to approve their authorized dealers, view their market share in their particular product categories, and track in aggregate the status of proposals, signed contracts and orders placed by their dealers in terms of both number of units and dollar value. The information gleaned from the i3 dashboard helps suppliers manage their inventory levels more effectively because they can see the proposal and sold/booked business activity long before they receive the actual Purchase Orders.
Kane also offers some advice for integrators, noting, “I think dealers would certainly benefit from using D-Tools. Spend the time and effort upfront and you will see the benefits down the road.”
