Major Features/Enhancements In Development:
Inventory Management
The upcoming Inventory Management capabilities in D-Tools SI will provide real-time tracking of quantity on hand, allocated, available, and on order, ensuring better stock management. Users will also be able to assign inventory to specific locations (e.g., warehouse shelves, service vans) for improved organization and retrieval.
Features:
Real-Time Inventory Tracking – View quantity on hand, allocated, available, and on order for better stock management.
Location-Based Inventory Assignments – Assign inventory to specific locations (e.g., Warehouse A, Shelf 4, Van 2) for improved organization and tracking.
Inventory Reporting – Generate reports with inventory quantities, values, and labels for better financial and operational insights.

Mobile Install - Native Mobile App
D-Tools’ Mobile Install module will be fully developed into native iOS and Android apps, allowing field teams to manage projects, tasks, and service orders seamlessly from their mobile devices.
Native iOS & Android Apps – A fully optimized Mobile Install experience designed for smartphones and tablets.
Offline Mode – Access and update tasks, projects, and service orders without an internet connection, with automatic syncing when reconnected.
Improved User Interface – A streamlined, mobile-friendly UI for faster navigation and easier field updates.

Project Enhancements
We've made a number of productivity improvements around projects in SI.
Project Template Interface – Templates can now be edited and include checklists, submittals, and Gantt charts.
Benefit: Streamlines project setup and ensures consistency in project execution.
Project Status Color in Project Explorer – Provides a visual indicator of project status.
Benefit: Improves at-a-glance project tracking and management.
Expanded Project Explorer Fields – Now includes Contact Name, Contact Phone, and Contact Mobile.
Benefit: Simplifies access to key project details without extra navigation.
Convert Unit-Based to Quantity-Based Projects – Allows flexibility in how project costs and deliverables are structured.
Benefit: Enables seamless adjustments for different project billing structures.
New Check-Out Settings – Set check-out prompts to Prompt/Always/Never.
Benefit: Provides better control over project check-out behavior to fit business workflows.
QuickBooks Integration Enhancements
Estimate Number Tracking for Service Orders – Prevents duplicate ordering of items.
Benefit: Eliminates costly errors and improves financial accuracy.
Ability to Clear Estimates for Service Orders – Removes estimates when necessary.
Benefit: Provides better financial control.
"Ship To" in SI Now Maps to "Ship Via" in QuickBooks Online POs
Benefit: Improves data consistency and shipping accuracy.
Option to Use Project Number or Project Name/Number for QuickBooks Job Name
Benefit: Enhances job tracking flexibility.
Change Order Enhancements
Improvements to the change order process include:
Change Order-Specific Payment Terms – Customize payment terms for change orders separately from the main contract.
Benefit: Provides more flexible financial control over project modifications.
Partial Project Approval – Select which items to approve, with the remainder placed in a pending change order.
Benefit: Enables incremental approvals to maintain project momentum.
Change Order Number Formatting – Added formatting options for numbering.
Benefit: Improves tracking and standardization of change orders.
Multi-Office Functionality
Allows catalog, projects and settings to be shared across multiple SI servers for consistency in multi-location businesses.
Benefit:
Ensures uniformity in product data, settings, and business rules across multiple offices, improving operational efficiency and reducing inconsistencies.
More User-Group Permissions
Expanded permissions provide granular control over user access and functionality.
Benefit:
Improves security and workflow control, allowing businesses to better manage roles and responsibilities within SI.
More Catalog Custom Fields - 75 Total
We've added more text, list, number, date and Boolean fields to the Catalog provide additional customization and flexibility.
Benefit
Allows for more detailed product catalog customization to accommodate complex business needs.
Built-in RTF Editor
This built-in editor for scope of work and service plan reporting replaces WordPad (which is removed in Windows 11 24H2.
Benefit:
Provides a modern, integrated way to format and edit critical project documents directly within SI.
Service Plan Enhancements
New Custom Layout Filters enable pre-filtering information based on status.
Benefit:
Improves reporting efficiency by reducing unnecessary data clutter.
Time Sheet Enhancements
Expanded export options enable users to export the current layout format in use to a .csv file for third-party solutions.
Benefit:
Simplifies integration with payroll and time-tracking systems.
