D-Tools Payments, the fully embedded payment solution for managing and collecting payments directly within the D-Tools Cloud environment, is adding several new robust features aimed at saving time and reducing redundant efforts.
In just a few short months since its initial release, D-Tools Payments has established itself as a go-to solution for integrators to securely manage and process their customers’ payments. It offers a seamless user experience, transparent transaction fees, efficient ACH payment processing, and detailed financial reporting.
“What does fully embedded mean for you?” rhetorically asked Adam Holden, Head of Payments at D-Tools during a recent webinar entitled “What’s New in D-Tools Payments.” “It means everything is fully integrated into D-Tools Cloud to ensure you have that end-to-end process covered in one ecosystem. Everything from onboarding to underwriting to your reports to be able to track your payments is now built in instead of using a third-party integration partner.”
In the recent webinar, D-Tools announced several new features for D-Tools Payments and reviewed the upcoming roadmap for additional facets to the software. Among the new robust features are:
Automated Recurring Payments – “This is definitely going to help with your service contracts and your monitoring contracts. We are going to help you automate the payment collection to create the monthly recurring revenue while you focus on the business,” says Holden.
Automated Quickbooks Invoicing – “We have made an enhancement to the Quickbooks integration so that when you fire up a payment request, it will be able to automatically create a corresponding invoice inside of Quickbooks,” explains Holden. So when a payment is made via D-Tools Payments, the software will mark itself as “paid” and it will be logged in all the appropriate places. Then the corresponding invoice in Quickbooks will automatically be marked as “paid” also. This automation reduces the time an integrator might spend bouncing back and forth between different software systems.
Reconciliation of Transaction Fees – Transaction fees from ACH and credit card processing will now be auto synced in Quickbooks upon settlement. “So, when you receive a deposit in your bank account, you can reconcile it easier rather than having to download different reports from different software systems,” says Holden.
Payment Request Terms – When a payment request is sent to a client, users in D-Tools Payments will now be able to select the payment terms, such as Due Upon Receipt, 15 Days, 30 Days or a custom timeframe.
“All of these new features are designed to help you with efficiency, help you collect money on a recurring basis, and help you reconcile,” concludes Holden.
