While there is a direct D-Tools Cloud to System Integrator integration, the two separate applications with separate databases and catalogs. The purpose of this article is to provide users with different options to transfer their product catalogs from one application into the other, as needed.
Transferring the Product Catalog from D-Tools Cloud to System Integrator
Use Case 1 (If you are using the Cloud to SI integration):
- At the time of updating an opportunity to won, select manage “Project in SI”
- Once the project is imported within SI, open the Project Editor
- Select all products (CTRL+A)
- Next right-click and select update to catalog.
- Navigate to the catalog tab within Project Editor
- Then update from the library to sync additional details/product images
Use Case 2 (If you are not utilizing the Cloud to SI integration):
- Export your D-Tools Cloud quote to CSV
- Import that file into the SI Catalog
- Use the update from library option to sync additional details such as product images, I/O’s, etc.
Use Case 3 (If you have existing D-Tools Cloud projects):
- Open the project
- Click on the item status tab
- Then select all items and export to a CSV
- Import that file into the SI Catalog
- Then use the update from library option to sync additional details such as product images, I/O’s, etc.
Transferring the Product Catalog from System Integrator to the D-Tools Cloud Platform:
- Open System Integrator and navigate to the product catalog
- Export all the products to CSV
- Import the CSV file into the D-Tools Cloud Catalog > My Products section via CSV Import
