Based on the Brooklyn 3 Dante audio processing module, the new Dante-enabled DSPs offer 16 x 16 channels of Dante digital audio. Users can create sources and zones using Dante network I/O, and any input — analog or Atmosphere accessory — can be distributed via Dante for maximum flexibility. All Dante settings can be configured and monitored through the Atmosphere GUI.

AudioQuest’s PowerQuest 303, 505, and 707 are high-performance power conditioners with Linear Noise-Dissipation, Non-Sacrificial Surge Protection, Extreme-Voltage Shutdown, and 12 AC outlets (4 High-Current outlets for amplifiers and 8 Linear-Filtered outlets for source components).
PowerQuest’s important protection features include Non-Sacrificial Surge Protection and Extreme Voltage Shutdown, keeping itself and the attached valuable components safe from common daily micro-spikes as well as potentially catastrophic power surges. Non-Sacrificial Surge Protection withstands multiple strikes of 6000V or 3000A — the maximum that can survive through a building’s AC electrical panel — without damage. Extreme Voltage Shutdown activates the main circuit relay in under 0.25 seconds when presented with 140VAC, and automatically resets once that incoming voltage is within a safe range.
Each PowerQuest model ships with a 2m detachable AC power cable and 2RU rack ears. For installers, this means a PowerQuest can go from the box to the rack in mere minutes.
The detachable power cable (PQ-415 for the 303; PQ-715 for the 505 and 707) uses AudioQuest’s high-purity Semi-Solid Long-Grain Copper conductor metal in which strands are packed more tightly and never change position within the bundle, significantly reducing strand-interaction distortion. Long-Grain Copper further minimizes distortion caused by grain boundaries that exist within any metal conductor. Direction-Controlled Conductors ensure induced noise is dissipated and drained properly — away from the system’s vulnerable circuitry.
The PQ-715 power cable, which ships with the PQ 707, takes noise-dissipation further by incorporating AudioQuest’s ZERO-Tech for uncompressed current transfer and RF/ND-Tech, which minimizes circuit misbehavior by canceling induced RF noise.
The PowerQuest 707 also adds Transient Power Correction, in which a current reservoir delivers up to 45 amps peak on-demand power for any amplifier, providing the current the amp needs to produce thrilling dynamic contrasts, bass extension, and control.

The WMF51 offers BYOD inputs, including up to 16 wireless connections with the new USB-C and HDMI dongles (the WMF-USBC-D and WMF-HDMI-D, respectively) enabling seamless wireless sharing from USB-C sources such as laptops, smartphones, and tablets — plus support for Airplay, Miracast, Chromecast, and apps. Chief Announces Tempo™ Flat Panel In-Wall Mount System
Chief, a brand of Legrand | AV,is excited to introduce the Tempo™ Flat Panel In-Wall Mount System, the first in-wall mount system of its kind in the industry, in booth C8600 at InfoComm 2024. This all-in-one system includes in-wall storage and flat panel mounts that can be purchased and installed to accommodate the stages of construction, from rough-in to AV commissioning.
With the new Tempo Flat Panel In-Wall Mount System, contractors can install in-wall boxes with stud tabs kit (FPIWMKIT1) during the rough-in construction phase. The wall mount kit (FPIWMKIT2) can be ordered separately and delivered after wall finishing is complete to add flanges, display mount, and small-device storage plates. The Tempo Flat Panel In-Wall Mount System ships with two 15x10-inch Lever Lock™ plates, offering a minimum clearance for 1 RU of AV equipment. Installers can place small devices where they need them, thanks to lateral shift flexibility within the storage boxes. Lever Lock plates are compatible with Middle Atlantic Forward Small Device Mounting Clamps to quickly secure devices in place.
The system also offers an industry-exclusive feature: three types of knockouts per box. This provides greater flexibility for vertical and horizontal cabling between storage boxes, giving total control over power and data design.
Chief Tempo In-Wall Mount System features one inch of post-install leveling for precision-alignment in dual display installations. Display depth adjustment options from 0.5 to 2 inches facilitate ADA compliance with flat panels up to 3.5 inches deep. Mount installation can also be adjusted to accommodate more storage behind the display (may affect ADA compliance). In addition, installers can enhance service access to small devices and AV storage systems behind the display by extending mount interfaces up to 10.65 inches off the wall. The flat panel can be tilted in a variety of positions (0, 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10 degrees) to eliminate screen glare and reflections. When tilt is combined with depth adjustment, the bottom of large displays won’t hit the wall.

Developed by Control Concepts, the new module certified by Crestron enables native control of NEXSYS UPSs from Creston control systems.
The new module, certified by Crestron for NEXSYS Series UPS Backup Power System with RackLink, is now available in the Crestron Application Market and the product pages and Power Downloads page on legrandav.com. The new NEXSYS firmware update (1.1008), also available on legrandav.com, is required to activate the functionality.

It probably goes without saying that to have successful wireless mic operation, you need to get a good signal from the transmitter, through free space, and then through the receiving antenna, through the coaxial cable, through the distro, and into the receiver.
That’s why it might seem counterintuitive to advise that active antennas — i.e., antennas that have built-in electronic amplification — aren’t always the best answer for that first stage of the receiving side of your wireless mic system.
Typical small-signal RF amplifier circuits, like those used in active antennas, in-line amps, and elsewhere in a receiving-side RF chain, have a limited dynamic range. They are reasonably linear for low signal levels but grow increasingly non-linear for signals that may be of larger-than-expected amplitude. Non-linearity in an RF circuit can be tolerated for a single frequency, a single signal, because the harmonic artifacts produced are fairly low in amplitude and are at frequencies that are 2×, 3×, 4× and higher multiples of the original carrier frequency, and therefore are easy to filter out.
But when multiple signals mix, non-linearity causes intermodulation distortion (IMD) that is potentially more harmful than the simple harmonic distortion that occurs on a single frequency.
IMD raises the noise floor in the slice of UHF spectrum that we use and may crowd the wireless mic frequencies that we want to receive cleanly, without dropouts and distortion. Figure 1 shows nine wireless mic frequencies and the resulting complex RF waveform received by the antenna. The power spectrum is clean, dominated only by the nine carrier signals.
Figure 2 shows what happens when the complex signal of nine combined frequencies overloads an active circuit. The power spectrum becomes dense with intermodulation products, severely raising the noise floor.

Shipping in mid-June is the all-new RTI Audio Distribution DSP matrix amplifier line. The series includes the AD-46-100, a 4x6 DSP matrix amplifier for distribution of up to four audio sources to six zones, with four zones amplified at 100W, and the AD-810-100, an 8x10 DSP matrix amplifier for up to eight sources and 10 zones, with eight zones amplified at 100W. For larger projects, the AD-1616 is a DSP matrix distributing 16 sources to 16 zones. Accordingly, RTI is introducing two new 70V/100V solutions. The AMP-4-125 is a 4-channel 125W, 2-channel 70V/100V 250W DSP matrix amplifier, while the AMP-8-125 is an 8-channel 125W, 4-channel 70V/100V 250W DSP matrix amplifier.
