D-Tools Has Major Presence Among 2024 CEDIA Smart Home Award Winners

D-Tools software was prevalent among the recipients of the 2024 CEDIA Smart Home Awards Americas presented at CEDIA Expo 2024 in early September. Specifically, half of the winners – represented by both projects and companies – use D-Tools award-winning software solutions D-Tools System Integrator or D-Tools Cloud. D-Tools congratulates all the winners of the CEDIA Smart Home Awards honor integrators who deliver stunning projects for their customers across both North and South America.

Of the 12 award winners recognized for integrator excellence in installation projects or showroom design, half of the recipients are engaged with D-Tools.

Specifically, in the Project categories:

• Global Wave Integration based in Southern California was recognized for the Best Media Room for its June St. Media Room project.
• La Scala based in Vancouver, Canada, was recognized in the Best Integrated Home Level 1 category for its Seamless project.
• La Scala received the Excellence in Documentation award for the Seamless project.
• La Scala was honored in the category of Technology Meets Design for its Seamless project.

The La Scala team took home several awards at the 2024 CEDIA Smart Home Awards. 

In the Business categories, CEDIA recognized:

• Barrett’s Technology Solutions in Lombard, Ill., was recognized in the Excellence in Business category.
• Schaller Design Lab based in Bogota, Colombia, was the recipient of the Best Showroom/Experience Center.

The award winners were not the only D-Tools representation at the lavish 2024 CEDIA Smart Home Awards reception at CEDIA Expo 2024. The event opened with an exclusive members reception outside the Mile High Ballroom at the Colorado Convention Center with the CE Pro All Star Band playing a set of classic rock music. The band is anchored by drummer Tim Bigoness, chief marketing officer at D-Tools.
