Create and Manage Mobile Resources
Mobile Install resources can receive task notifications via email and access tasks via the Mobile Install web portal.
Publish Project Tasks and Service Orders
Project-specific install tasks and service orders can be published to Mobile Install from the SI interface. Select resources, install or repair items, estimated start and end hours/dates and publish to the Mobile Install web portal.
Send Project Documents and Reports
Project documentation (such as drawings and reports) can be sent (uploaded) to Mobile Install and associated with specific project tasks or service orders.
Add Site Items to Service Orders
Track and account for additional work in the field and empower your techs to add additional products or services and get customer approval on the spot. Approved added items or services can be added to an existing SI project.
Update from Mobile Install
Task status and other information changes can be synched back to SI. Items such as percent complete, actual resource time, serial number, and notes are incrementally tracked and updated with each sync.
Track and Export Time Entries
Time Sheets can be created in Mobile Install and exported to a CSV file from Mobile Install. When Time Sheets are enabled, users can enter time entries on tasks and service orders for each day. The actual installer hours are computed from their respective time entries. Time Sheets can be exported to a CSV file for import into other systems. Exported Time Sheets can be used to make entries into QuickBooks or other accounting systems.
Send Email when Task or Service Order is Complete
Mobile Install automatically notifies the project manager (or task creator) when the install task or service order has been marked as completed.
What’s great is that D-Tools is always evolving, bringing out new features to its software, like Mobile Install. Now, with the push of a button, I can send out my schedule right to my installer’s smartphones and best of all, I get accurate feedback so I always know when the job is done!
